MTF Celebrates 35 Years

The Massage Therapy Foundation was founded by the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) on August 3, 1990, with the mission of supporting scientific research, education, and community service initiatives for the massage therapy profession.

In celebration of this special milestone, AMTA has generously matched donations that were made to MTF during the AMTA 2025 National Convention, August 20-23. 

Our deep gratitude goes to all who donated during our 35th Anniversary Match Campaign! Together, our supporters raised $17,159—when matched by AMTA, that makes for a grand total of $34,318 donated!

These funds enable MTF to continue providing critical research, education, and community service initiatives for our profession. We are thankful for all who have contributed to making this fundraiser a success!
