Dr. Cambron is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies, a peer-reviewed journal focused on providing evidence about manual therapies and movement techniques.
“We are very proud to give Dr. Cambron the MTF’s John Balletto Distinguished Service Award as her commitment and work to advance the mission of the MTF has been incredible. Dr. Cambron embodies the essence of this award starting out as a MTF grantee and then serving as a volunteer, next serving as a Trustee and ultimately, for her four years of service as our Board President made a lasting positive impact on our work. We are forever grateful for her wonderful efforts on our behalf,” said Gini Ohlson, MTF Executive Director.
“Thank you so very much for honoring me with this award. I’m humbled to receive it and am not sure how to express the true gratitude that I feel. It has always been my pleasure to represent the Foundation and to share our passion for research, education, and community service with others. The massage therapy profession can change people’s lives; and the Massage Therapy Foundation is a conduit for that change. Thank you for allowing me to be part of the process for so many years,” said Cambron.
