About our guest:
Kathryn Hansen, ANP-BC

Katy Hansen is a Nurse Practitioner at the Vanderbilt Center for Integrative Health. In this role, she provides Integrative Health Consultations and follow-up sessions, guiding and supporting patients as they work toward achieving their health and wellness goals. Katy received her graduate degree from Vanderbilt with an emphasis in her education on Palliative Care, particularly pain management. As an RN, Katy worked in the intensive care unit of the hospital caring for critically ill patients. Prior to nursing, she earned her Associate’s degree from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Colorado and practiced therapeutic massage for 8 years. Her practice primarily worked with people having chronic and acute pain issues including headaches, soft tissue injuries and functional limitations. This diverse background informs and guides her holistic practice.
